It’s the habit of good travellers to make all the needed preparation already. From choosing the destinations to booking all the necessities like hotels and transportation; everything is in place beforehand. But travelling has never been as challenging as it is right now. We don’t need to go into the details as everyone knows the recent political and cultural changes happening around the world. Does this mean you stop travelling? Definitely, not. Travelling is the only way that gives us the exhilarating opportunities to meet new people, explore different places and top of all it relaxes our inner selves.

When it comes to travelling to London, the excitement naturally multiplies. As London is one of the most visited cities in the world, it is obvious to see vibrating waves within. The city of London is always busy, vibrant and jam-packed with tourists. So how can you skip the crowds, save money and make the most out of your London travel?

Here are some tips that will surely help you to make your London travel trip hassle free and entertaining.

Pack according to weather

The temperature needles in London is very unpredictable, so it is always suggested to check the weather forecast before you pack for your travel. Mostly, January is the coldest month of the year and July is the hottest, but you never know. So always check the weather and then pack accordingly.

Get a visitor oyster card before-hand

A visitor oyster card costs you only £3, you can pre-load it with some advance credit in it and save yourself from buying a ticket every time. This card can be used in any public transportation medium, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. The benefits of using this oyster card is that you’ll get discounted fares at various places.

Pre-Book a minibus for your family trip:

When you are in a big group, travelling by taxi or a public transportation can cause big holes in your pockets. A minibus on the other hand is cost-effective and can add more fun to your family trip such as you can easily visit the nearby places like Kent, Hertfordshire and many other breathtaking places. Minibuses are safe, spacious and flexible to meet your specific demands on the roads.

Choose to stay within inner boroughs:

You might be disagree with me on this but to save a bit of money and to know the locals better we would prefer you to stay within the London boroughs of Westminster, Kensington, Hackney or Southwark. London has so much within that it is foolish to waste time in transit from one place to another.

Buy a London Hop-Off and Hop-On Bus pass:

This comes from our favourite London travel tips. If you are alone and in London for only two or three days, the Hop On and Hop Off bus tours are amazing to get around to all London attractions without restricting yourself to a set schedule. A day pass to this will cost you £26 and you hop on and hop off as much as you want.

So have you already set up everything for your upcoming trip or are you still in the confusion of how you can make most of this trip? Check these tips out and get a help in planning everything. Happy Journey
