My Experience with The Riot Room Thane:

We entered The Riot Room Thane at around 6.20pm and checked out at around 8.20pm on a Saturday evening. These so called 2 hrs went like a flash where I enjoyed the activities along with my kiddo. Being a Saturday evening it was less crowded which allowed everyone (including me) to enjoy the activities dedicated to the kids.

Apart from the play zone there is a snacks corner with adequate seating arrangements providing enough options to munch in. This definitely works as a booster after spending 1hr at The Riot Room Thane for me as well as for my kiddo. The menu card and the snacks served tempted my husband to hog a bit even though he didn’t enter the play zone. Along with snacks they also serve cold and hot beverages available to all age groups. The service was prompt as the food was served within 10mins as promised.
Overall experience was good. Whether I will visit The Riot Room Thane again? Definitely YES.

Pros:

  1. Good Hygiene and Ambience
    2. One parent is allowed with the kid.
    3. Attendants/Employees were attentive and helpful. (Thanks to them for keeping an eye on our kids although we too were there)
    4. Decent options in food (Fast food: You can grab from variety of pizzas to sandwiches, and different drinks to quench your thirst after all that sweating.)
    5. Socks available at the counter to buy and not for rent

Cons:

  1. Situated in an industrial area: Location is one of the issue that I faced. The Riot Room Thane is situated in an industrial area, where you won’t expect any play zone to be. We could only locate the Sign board on the gate which is near to laxmi snacks but it would be only visible when the gate is closed
    2. Unable to locate through GPS : Finding the place was a challenge even though the area was known to us. (We could not find the place via GPS)
    3. The riot room entry fee : Bit high for 1 hour compared from a common man’s perspective
    4. Membership Plans : Available (3k for 10 sessions) which is on a higher side
    5. Membership Validity : 3 months which is less with compared to the charges
    6. Common washroom for ladies and gents
    7. Inadequate cooling

Recommendations to The Riot Room Thane

  1. Place promotional hoardings which are easily visible for the people to locate the place in the first go.
    2. It is preferable if there were two separate washrooms for ladies and gents.
    3. AC needs to be relooked at.
