Apart from being known as the most popular city in NCR, Ghaziabad also faces major traffic congestion issues in some of its areas. However, the face of Ghaziabad has completely revamped today, and is expected to continue reshaping into a developed city for the next few years.

At one hand, where some of the projects proposed by the state government have become operational, at the other hand, there are several projects in the kitty, which are either nearing completion or waiting for the work to be started.

Here are some of the projects that prove that the coming years will be very fruitful for Ghaziabad property –

a) Basement Parking At Raj Nagar District Centre
A mechanised parking is being prepared at RDC, which will have two levels at the basement. The surface will, however be landscaped. As per the superintending engineer of the GDA, this type of parking will make RDC a vehicle free zone.
b) Elevated Road From Ghanta Ghar To Bhatia Morh
The GT road is a very congested area, which is why a 3 km elevated road will be constructed to ease the traffic from Ghanta Ghar to Bhatia Morh. As per the superintending engineer of the GDA, the authority will be providing approximately Rs 85 crore for this elevated road project. The remaining funds will be sought either from the state administration or public works department. traffic signals will also be installed across the city, for which a budget of Rs 5 crore has been proposed.
c) Railway Under-Bridge
A railway under-bridge at Sahibabad Railway Station is being built, which will ensure smooth flow of traffic from delta colonies. Regularly people get stuck in jam, which is why they face several problems in reaching their workplaces, schools and other places.
d) Elevated Road From UP Gate To RNE
The demand for flats in Ghaziabad has considerably risen after the development of the elevated road from UP gate to Raj Nagar Extension. This project has already been completed, and regularly thousands of commuters pass through this route to reach Delhi, Meerut.
e) Grade Separator
With a budget of Rs. 35 crore, grade separators would be constructed, which in turn, would ease the traffic issue from Ghaziabad towards Delhi and Mohan Nagar. This flyover will be a boon to the realty property.
